THE PRACTICE is an integrative team of psychotherapists based in Reno, NV - here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters with a client-centered approach that puts you first.
We use a wide array of therapeutic techniques, unique to your specific needs. With specialized training in co-occuring disorders, dialectical behavioral therapy, grief counseling, trauma, and more, we provide individualized treatment to clients across the lifespan, adapted to your specific circumstance and need.

Evan Miller

You come first in therapy. I’m just here to help. When we learn to be honest with ourselves, life is happier, problems are solvable, and relationships are easier. I prefer a direct approach because self-exploration requires clear reflection. I’m also patient because sometimes it takes a few tries to get to where we want to be.
Breakthroughs in psychology can help us understand ourselves and our behaviors. I seek out advances in research and proven treatments to offer the best possible approach to your problem. However, not all of our issues have published solutions, so we can work together to find YOUR solution. I look forward to being of service.

Alli Miller

I completed my master’s in social work at the University of Nevada, Reno where I graduated with distinction in leadership. I have over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including residential treatment, intensive outpatient, private practice, and school-based social work.
I believe that radical genuineness is essential to the therapeutic process and am committed to providing a safe space for the healing and growth of my clients, beginning with basic human connection and compassion for all.
When I'm not developing my skills in trauma-informed care, grief and play therapy, I live my best life surrounded by my family and three dogs, preferably next to a river soaking in the sun.
